I saw this list of questions on someone’s blog and I thought it would be fun to ask the hubby (newlywed style).

Yoga Update

I totally realized I missed last week's update for yoga. Busy busy last few weeks! I've done pretty good with yoga (been super busy with assignments and tutoring and work). I missed yoga a few days this week- was exhausted once night after working on homework and the next night I had a nosebleed 5 minutes in lol. Go ahead and laugh because I did lol. I successfully made it through my tough Yoga Burn dvd last Sunday (wooo!!!) and haven't been able to get that far since. Missing a day totally sets you back.

So question is, do I see a difference? Hell yes! What I call my 2nd tummy (I have 2 fat rolls on my tummy- sickening I know) is gone! My belly (which looks like I had a watermelon of a kid) is noticeably tinier. It still has a long way to go, but I see a huge difference.

Another area I notice a change in is my arms and legs. They feel stronger and slightly more muscley. Am I where I want to be? Not even close and I won't be for probably a year or 2. Would I be comfy in a bikini yet? No. Love handles and a tummy do not make me feel hot yet, but I do feel the sexiest I've felt in a long time.

I am so proud I found an exercise system that works for me. I feel amazing. I plan to reward myself in a few months with a tattoo, possible nose stud piercing, and pin up pics :)

Weigh-Ins: Week 3

Dieting and exercise have not been the greatest this week, but I did do pretty good. Had to eat out a few times this week and I know that killed me. I also missed yoga twice the week (Thursday got a nose bleed within first 5 minutes) and Friday I was too tired. Anyhow, yoga is making progress, even if it's slow and small.

Weigh-ins September 18, 2010:
Bust:43.5"
Hips:52"
Waist:46.5"

Weigh-ins September 11, 2010:

I'll weigh-in tomorrow at my parents and update my weight loss meter :)

This or That!

Be extremely beautiful or extremely intelligent?
Extremely intelligent

Go without brushing your teeth for a year or go without washing your hair for a year?
Man I dunno, both are sick, but I don't think I could deal with greasy hair. Greasy hair for me= greasy face and that I definitely can't deal with!

Rich! I wouldn't need to have my life constantly on display.

Have an amazing shoe collection or an amazing makeup collection?
I love my makeup, but I'll go with shoes and an amazing shoe organization. Killer designer heels and all the goodies. I tend to forget I have some of my makeup, shoes would constantly there for me to see :)

Both are just find, but I'd probably take the chocolate.

Hugs are always better :)

Stilettos so I feel tall and sexy; as long as they weren't super uncomfy.

Meet Johnny Depp or Robert Pattinson?
Johnny Depp. Rob Patterson is U-G-L-Y. Ugh!

If I could be a fairy like the ones from True Blood then fairy :)

Money I think. As long as I had the few people in my life who are really around and love me, I would be more than satisfied.

Surprise!!! New Hair!!

Yesterday I went in to see my hairdresser for a root touch-up (or so I thought). Like always, I looked through the hair dye swatch book and knew I wanted to go a little darker, but still wanted to be very blonde. My hubby went with me and suggested I add some violet a.k.a. burqundy to the mix. I haven't had burgundy in my hair since I turned 21 (Feb 2008), so I was nervous to try it again. I agreed on burgundy highlights with touchups of the previous white blonde highlights and a medium mocha color to redo where the copper highlights were. As my hair was blow dryed, I saw that my hair wasn't super blonde anymore, but very very dark.

Not exactly what I expected, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I am glad my hairdresser decided to do what she did, because I don't think I would've ever chose it.

What do you think? Perfect for Fall? Makes my blue eyes pop? I LOVE it!

Yoga: 1st Week

I survived my first week of yoga and I have to say, I've done a lot better than I thought I would. For the first 3 days, I did solely my Beginner's Yoga dvd, which don't let it fool you, it's tough. My body hurt, muscles burned, but I did it. I got through 45 minutes every time.

One day 4 I chose to do a mix of Beginner's Yoga and Yoga Burn (suggested by my friend, Trenton). Yoga Burn kicks you butt. It's intense, but exactly what I need. This dvd alone will be what will give me my abs and work my legs and arms. I've made it 50 minutes through this dvd and I have 40 or so left. I've made doing my yoga a daily thing and I already Can tell a difference. My post-pregnancy looking belly (no, I haven't been pregnant, but I sure have a belly like I have)is slowly shrinking and my chest is getting perkier. I, for once, am feeling sexy about myself.

I'm not asking to be stick skinny, because it's never going to happen, but I can be toned and fit; and overall, a better me.

I HIGHLY recommend these dvds. They're the only ones I've used where I feel the poses transforming my body and really working. I intend on buying more of them so I have a broader variety. My goal for now... in 6 weeks to be in a bikini and not cringe. My body won't be where I want for now, but it will next year when I go on vacation. In 6 weeks, my husband and I are staying at a VERY nice cabin with my parents and it has a hot tub, so yea... I want to be in a bikini and seeing improvement by then :)

I've been holding off on buying my Halloween costume because I don't want to get one now and in a month it not fit. So in 3-4 weeks, I'll order it :)

Here's the dvds. Wish my luck, I'm pushing my body harder than I ever have and I know I can do it :)

Yoga: Day 1

So tonight I did my first night of yoga and tada... I did 45 minutes!!! I feel good and relaxed, but come tomorrow will be sore. I'm using muscles I haven't used in years and it feels good.

I'm way out of my comfort zone, but I know I can do this.

Wish me luck :)
