I'm pretty proud of myself today and how I've ate, not too bad at all and I've passed up my cravings today and replaced them with healthier ones.
Breakfast: Meal Replacement Shake (Reeses Cheesecake flavored and YUMMY!)
Lunch: 1 enchilada, 1 serving bananas, 1 piece garlic wheat bread, water
Dinner: Spinach and cheese tortellini with my own made tomatoey yumminess sauce, cubes of French herbed bread with Basil Pesto to dip it in, water
Snack: Fruit salad with apples, peaches, and strawberries, drizzled with lemon juice
I am about to watch Rupaul's Drag Race and Cupcake Wars then do my yoga :) Today I start my Yoga Burn dvd (cringe....). Josh and I have a bet, one that I am going to win, by the way. That if I can successfully get through the Yoga Burn dvd that I get to go out to dinner to my favorite Greek restaurant Friday, if not, we have sandwiches or Hamburger Helper. I missed date night last week cause he worked, so I WILL win this bet!!!
Keep me in your thoughts that I won't drop dead after I get into this dvd- I'm thinking I'll get to boat pose tonight and die lol.

A Total Fail
Today I feel like a complete and total failure. I had good intentions to eat well today, but I crashed and burned. The only meal I can be proud of was my Smartone's meal I had at lunch that was full in flavors and not in calories. I ate a crappy breakfast (made my meal replacement shake, got to work, saw a waffle and sausage link; ate that and my shake.... )... Total Fail!!
Had a good lunch, drank about 6 plastic cups full of water (72 ounces total)= A good thing I did today.
Dinner, oh Lord.... I totally failed. 2 fish filets, serving of macaroni and cheese, and 5 corn nuggets. 4 (ugh, embarrassing) cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for snacks throughout the day. I am really ashamed of this little meal choice right here, but I am alone tonight and didn't feel like messing with dinner tonight.
I am now parked on the couch and trying to make myself do my yoga. I am sooo exhausted and have no energy. I honestly don't know why I feel like I do today. Hopefully I am not catching something or getting sick, I need to be well.
All in all, not a total loss of hope, but not my best day ever.

My Work Begins, Again
My yoga and dieting regimine began again today. I am determined to be a few dress sizes smaller by the time Josh and I go on vacation in May. What am I planning to do this time around to be ready?
1. Drink a Herbalife meal replacement shake once a day. I'm really happy with these; they don't taste life cardboard crap, so it makes it a lot easier for me to drink it and not feel deprived. I also have a list of shake recipes I can create at home using different pudding mixes and adding fruit in when I want.
2. Increased water intake. My Herbalife consultant gave me a free cup that I can make my shakes in in the morning and take it with me to work, but when I am done drinking my shake, I can rinse it out and fill it up with water. If I feel it to the top, it's 16 ounces and before I know it I have drank 3 cups full, sometimes more like 5 or 6 lol. I feel hydrated, and therefore, the caffeine/coke addiction drops.
3. Yoga regimine-5 days a week. I will do a yoga dvd once a day. I currently have 2 beginner dvds- one much much harder than the other. This weekend I will buy 3 more- 2 intermediate and 1 hard. I'll alternate the dvds so that my routine never gets mixed up and my body is always challenged. I'll also pick 2 nights a week where I am free from them to rest. I'm eager to see the difference it makes on my body and in fitness.I loose 30 pounds, I'm getting my first tattoo :)
4. Portion control- this is what I did last time and lost 3 lbs like that. I don't miss out on eating the foods I like, I just don't go back for seconds and try not to finish every bit of food on my plate. I will also eat better, more nutritious meals and snacks. I also won't eat past 9:00 p.m.
I'll be doing my weekly weigh ins/ updates to let you know how I'm doing and to keep myself accountable.
Weight as of today- 236.5, not a number I'm proud of, but not my heighest ever. I want to finally, be under the 200's, I haven't seen that number in 5 years!
I hope you follow along with me :)
XOXO
Jenn

Snow, please go away!!!

We've been snowed in for 3 days now!!!! Meaning, no work, no going anywhere! I'm enjoying time spent with my hubby, but it's kinda getting on my nerves that the snow and ice are just sitting here and not melting off. I had plans for Saturday, stupid snow....
I guess we are lucky that we aren't living further up north, where they got the worst of the weather. Tulsa got 21"! They don't get to move for a long, long time. The roads are horrible and I am not even going to attempt that!
Hope you guys are safe and warm and not in the middle of this nasty weather. At least the sun is out and work cares enough about our safety to not make us attempt it, because I wouldn't. Did I mention it's only 7 degrees??? Eek!!!
The side of our house:

Wait... there's a driveway there?

Snow pics with the hubby:

Take 2:

Boys will be boys :)

Snow on the side of the house:

Poor little house :(

New Straightener
Around Thanksgiving my beloved Chi straightener shorted out and started to spark. After 3 years of being a happy camper, I had to put on my big girl panties and throw away my beloved. I personally don't think I could rock the bald loook. Haha.
Needless to say, I couldn't afford to put down another 130 bucks for another Chi, so I started my quest for a straightener that was just as good for cheaper, that's when I came across sayanythingbrooke's blog sale and lo and behold, she was selling a straightener. The brand is Solia (which I had never heard of before) which after researching, I knew I needed.
The straightener arrived today and I immediately had to test it out and can we just say, LOVE! My hair looks soooo nice and polished! See for yourself :)
