I did my measurements a day early today cause I was anxious to do so. My husband said"how much have you lost cause you look slimmer." I am amazed because I really didn't work as hard on my diet this week, I just counted calories and ate healthy things. I also drank a ton of water, but really no exercise (except walking to class). I will be ordering a weighted hula hoop to push up the weight loss :)I've also stopped eating out and it's pretty sweet the money we have saved to enjoy.
I also decided on what I wanted to do to reward myself for my hard work. Ladies and gents, I will be having pinup pictures done October 16th. I'm super excited since I've wanted to do them for a long time. I have around 6 months to get healthy and what better way to appreciate my body then to do this :)
My stats for the week:
Bust: 45" (down 2 from last week and 3 total since starting)
Hips: 54" (still a scary number, but down half an inch this week and 2 inches total)
Waist: 48" (also scary, but getting a lot better, down 2 inches from last week and 4 inches total)
Hooray, so proud of myself!

Week 2 WeighIn
I'm proud of myself; I haven't ate out in 2 weeks, am 2 weeks without caffeine and I feel great. I've ate pretty good this week, just have to push myself to eat breakfast more. I've stuck with my diet and have tried to eat as close to 1500 calories a day as possible. I've slacked on exercise and need to get my butt in gear, but here's my measurements for the week. I intend on buying a scale soon lol.

Determined to be Healthy
Hi guys,
Wednesday night I took some time to really think about my life and my body; I usually take time to reflect when I am soaking in the tub :) Everyone who knows me knows that it has been a struggle for Josh and I to have a baby. We've been trying for 6 months, and so far, nothing has happened. That being said, the fact that I want to become a mother is tremendous and I want to make sure I'm doing all in my power to be healthy when the time does come for us.
In the past 3 years, my weight has gotten out of control. My whole life I've had a weight problem, and for the most part, I was able to stay at a steady weight by doing little exercise and eating like I wanted to. My parents all love to eat and have get togethers, so my life has always revolved around food. My senior year of high school and my first 2 years of college, I felt like my weight was in a good point, I was broke, so I couldn't afford to eat, and thus, lost weight. When I got married and moved back home, I got lazy and comfortable in life and all hope of being healthy went out the door.
Anyways, I got to thinking about my life and body while in the tub. I realized that being overweight and trying to get pregnant were closely related. Not feeling good about myself, affects just about everything surrounding it. I want to be around and be an active parent in my children's life, so I've decided it's time to make a life change. I've started a healthy diet with tasty food and decided to cut myself off of drinking all coke. I'm excited and 5 days in. I can tell a huge difference already in how I feel and think that this is something that will deeply impact my life.
Everyday I will drink water and try to eat 1500 calories as I'll be exercising too. Every day after work, my husband and I will be walking the dogs from our house down to the local nearby park, which will be around 2 miles. I know I'll feel better and the results will be great. I hope you support me and stay tuned for the updates. This is all really private to me, but I need to do this for myself and others.
Weekly Weigh in:
Waist:51
Hips56
Bust: 48
It's horrible... I'm embarrassed....
Wish me luck!!!

An Introduction!
Hello and I thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to visit my blog. This blog is a big project for me and I am really excited to share my life with others. Who knows, maybe somewhere along the way, something I write will help someone out.I hope you enjoy what you stumble upon and will subscribe. Don't be afraid to comment on posts that you like and tell me a little about yourself and your blog; I always love meeting new people and finding fun, new blogs :)
My name is Jennifer and I live in a small town in Oklahoma. My husband Josh and I have been married since July 19, 2008. Josh is 5 years older than me, which some may see as a disadvantage, but for me, I see it as a blessing. Being with him has made me mature, grow into an adult, and think before I make rash decisions. We have 2 dogs and no children as of yet. We've been trying for 6 months to get pregnant, but so far nothing has happened. We're happy with life and still feel like newlyweds. We fight all the time, but always talk it out to make things better then before. We are both attending college and are both pretty close to being done. Josh is an art major focusing on digital imaging. I'm an elementary education major and plan to graduate in the spring of 2011.
My goal for this blog is to share the things that happen in our everyday life. I also want this to be a place that's a second home/job for me. I love showing ideas, etc. This blog will be a little hodgepodge in one, with anything from recipes( a little of healthy and no so healthy), my weight loss journey, home improvements, fertility, book reviews, etc. I do hope you'll joining us on this journey and subscribe :)
