We Got a House!!!
Yes, yes, you read that right! We have found a house to move into. It's perfect, roomy, and in the country, which we really wanted. It's a good 15-20 minute drive from where we're from, but I think for the space and all that we get with it, it's worth it.
We plan to move into it on the 31st, so be expecting lots of pics of our new home. This is the perfect start to a new year!

Time has flown!
Really, it's already December? I finally finished this semester of hell :) I seriously never thought that the day would come and honestly, I dunno how well I did. I felt like I pushed myself, but you never know. I started to slack and I know it showed on some of my grades.
I am super excited for Christmas and we are still at my parents, but have a house lined up to move into around the 1st. We cannot wait; we're so ready for a place of our own again!
This isn't the best blog post, but it's something. I promise to have better posts up as soon as we're in our new place.
Happy holidays to all and we love you!

Blog Challenge: Day 2
A Picture That Makes You Happy
It was a spur of the moment picture, taken at a Denny's after we got rained on. It's natural, not posed, and I love it.
Favorite Movies
American Beauty
The Wizard of OZ
Cruel Intentions
Sex and the City
The House Bunny
The Ugly Truth
Moulin Rouge
Beetlejuice
The Nightmare Before Christmas
A Place You've Travelled To
I haven't been many places, but my favorite was probably Hollywood. There's so much entertainment history there, I was in a daze. It's also so super fast pace, something I am not used to at all.
Pictures of Your Friends
I don't consider myself to have a lot of close, close friends. Most of the people I was close to have moved off or have a totally different life than I do.However, I have 2 people I talk to, hang out with, etc. that I would consider my best friends.
Here's Kelsey. I actually met her through my youtube channel and personally got to meet her in October. It feels like I've known her for years and just wish that she was closer.
Trisha and I have been friends for a few years. Our busy schedules don't allow for us to see each other as much as we would like, but we tak as much as we can.

School is killing me, so bear with me.
I apologize for missing a post yesterday, but I literally typed papers from the time I got off work until I went to bed. I still have 5 more to type, and some manipulatives to get done before 12 today. I'm working myself to pure exhaustion that's for sure!
Just bear with me, it should die down in the next few days :)

Blog Challenge: Day 1
Since I haven't been able to do my yotube videos like I would like to, I've decided to start a 30 day blog challenge. Who knows, maybe after 30 days, I'll start a year long blog challenge where I do a daily blog post. I figured I'd jump right in and do day 1 today :)
*Day 1 - Recent Picture of Myself, Introduction and Interesting Facts
*Josh and I have been married since July 2008- so roughly 2 and a half years. We still consider ourselves newlyweds :)
*College Student - Currently working on my Bachelor's in Elementary Education, although I plan to go ahead and become double majored in Early Childhood Education as well.
*I try to take care of myself, but have fallen off the bandwagon lately with my diet and yoga. I promise to get back into it soon!
*We don't have any children yet, although we've been trying for quite some time and hope that it does happen soon.
*I work with 12-18 month olds, a job I never saw myself doing or having the patience to do, but yet, I love it and think that's why I want to pursue my Early Childhood degree, I love working with the younger kids.
*I have a pretty crazy addiction to clothes, makeup, and accessories. I have SOOOO much, but can never quite have enough!
*I love to be crafty, girly, and to make cute things.
Meaning behind my blog name
It is Josh and my names plus our last name. We're real original around here lol. :)
My first love
Silly as it may seem, I still remember my first love. I was in first grade and his name was Lance. My love was composed of chansing him around the play ground, doing anything I could to show my love and yet, it was never reciprocated. He was actually pretty mean to me and made me cry a lot. When we were both about 16, we tried dating, but it didn't work out lol. Funny thing is, we're pretty good friends now and talk regularly.
My first real love, or so I thought, was my ex. He was a lot of first for me and I put my heart and soul into that relationship and was crushed. I was treated bad, cheated on, you name it, it happened. Josh came into my life when my heart was broken and I was a bitter, angry person. He taught me what love was and changed my world around. Being in love with your best friend shows you that all the crap you went through in the past was nothing and the love you thought you knew is nothing compared to the amazing love you have now. He's my soul mate :)
My Parents
My mom and dad have been married 26 years and you can still see the love that they share. Sometimes I think they're the newlywed ones lol.
Meet my parents:
We're very close and always have been. They're really amazing to me!
My siblings
I have 2 sisters, one is 21 and one is 15.
This is my sister Connie. She just turned 21 and is going to school for nursing. She has a son- my nephew, Caiden who is the best! She's a great sister, but I dont get to see her as much as I would like. We're also complete opposites.
This is my sister Rachel. She's 15 and has a mind of her own. She's an exact twin of me. We're so much alike, it's scary! She's a sophomore in high school. She's a social butterfly, talkative, sweet, and there when I need her.

A Wedding Weekend
Yesterday Josh and I drove an hour and a half to Oklahoma City to watch 2 friends of ours renew their vows in a wedding ceremony. The ceremony was gorgeous and dispite the horrible, rainy weather, we made it to the site in 1 piece. Thought I would show you guys some pictures (ceremony pictures coming later since they're not uploaded on this laptop), but let's just say Thuy looked GORGEOUS!!
This is the fanciest I've dressed up in a while :)
Josh and I outside freezing:

My Postcard Swap
I decided to take part in the postcard swap that Jessica- (jessicalynnwrites.blogspot.com) did, because like Jess, I too love getting pieces of real mail in the mail, other than bills and junk mail. I was very lucky and received 2 postcards, one from the lady I sent one to and one for the girl who drew my name. Here's pics of the cute cards they picked for me:
The first is from Ladonna, who I sent a card too and features a cute little Texas Longhorn:
The second is from Charity Michelle, the girl who drew my name and features a picture of the University of Kansas. Her postcard had the Jayhawk on front and was really cute.
This was a ton of fun and I look forward to doing more swaps in the future!

In a Funk
Lately, I am in a real funk. Everything was going well for us and yesterday, it fell through. Josh and I moved out of the house we were living in because we had a huge mice infestation that got out of control. All of our posessions are in a storage unit. I busted my ass and found a really nice rental house that was perfect for us and waited to move in on the 15th. Yesterday I got an email from the landlord satying the house has bad termite damage and would take months to repair. We are now stuck with my parents, with nowhere to go.
To top it off, I found out that I was rejected for the scholarship I applied for this summer and have waited months for. I now cannot go to school next semester because I owe 900 bucks after my scholarship hit. 2500 for a semester of college is ridiculous and in the 6 years I've been here, it's more than doubled. My plan is to work M-F 8:30-5:30 enjoy myself, find a house, and get ahead on bills. Maybe I'll graduate by the time i'm 30.... I'm in my last year and can't get a bone anywhere.
I am in a total funk right now. I feel like all of my hard work in finding a new house were for nothing. I am just really really upset for getting excited about this. I have no idea what's going to happen in the next few months.
Just pray for us, it's hard finding a nice house in this town that has a fenced in yard for our dogs that doesn't charge an arm and a leg.

4 days, 4 days!!!
In 4 days, we will be moving into our new home. I am so so happy, excited, and ready for the change. We've needed it for so long. Finances will be tight for a while and Christmas won't be nearly as good as last yearm, but I get a chance to use my craftiness and do homemade presents. I cannot wait to share them with you guys, as well as our new home, all nice and decorated :)
Just wanted to give as little heads up and let you guys know we're still alive :) I'm even almost done rewashing all of our many, many clothes. Internet sucks at my parents, so pictures, videos, and updates will be slow and few for a few weeks, but know that I am keeping a watch on all of your blogs and events :)
Hope to show pics of our new house soon :)

An update on Things to Come
Hi guys,
Josh and I have many exciting things happening for us in the next few weeks. Here's a little break down:
This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we're going to Tulsa and meeting up with my friend Kelsey and her fiance, Eric. Expect lots of pictures :) We're staying at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and will have a blast. Saturday we're all going to Oktoberfest (yes, I have a barmaid's costume :)) and then having lots of fun afterwards. Sunday I am going to a babyshower for my friend Becky and her baby girl, Abagail. Babyshowers make me happy; I love thinking of the future of when I will have one of my own :)
The following weekend- Halloween weekend; we're MOVING! YAY!!! I am beyond ready to move out of this mouse infested dump and when I say infested I mean it. I am totally done with this place and this slum landlord who won't fix anything. The new house is somewhat in the country, 3 beds, 1 bath, and roomy. I cannot wait to decorate and show you guys are new place. But yes, mouse situation is out of control. I will not even tell you how many we've killed in the past 2 days with setting glue traps. It would seriously gross you out. We may be renting a storage unit and moving everything in it so we can get out of this place, then staying with my parent for 2 weeks.Halloween will be so-so this year, I'll dress up in my Robin Hood costume and go to my church's carnival, but that's it.
One the 6th, Josh's Christian fraternity is having a date night in OKC at a yummy Italian restaurant that is my favorite. In the 4 years we've been together, our plans are always booked and we're unable to go, but this year, we are going. Lots of pictures will be posted from this too :)
On the 12th, we have a wedding of one of Josh's fraternity brothers that we're going to in OKC. I have the perfect dress and cannot wait. Usually, we can't both get the same days off to go to weddings, but this time we did :)
The hell starts with getting ready for finals, turning in projects, etc. and worrying if I'll be able to afford to go to college next semester. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I've been cut off from all state funding since I'm in my 5th year of college, so needless to say I owe 900 bucks that I don't have. I am hoping for a scholarship I applied for in the Summer, but I dunno. I keep praying like crazy that I WILL BE HELPED in some way.
So that's it :) Busy, busy, busy and I haven't even started my Christmas shopping lol. I will be making lots of things as opposed to buying as much as I did last year.
Here's some pics from recent date nights for you guys :)

Weigh-In Update
I know, I know... I suck at this! I'll be totally honest, I've fallen off the bandwagon with my dieting and yoga, but give me 2 weeks to get settled into my new house and I'll be busting my butt again.
I also bought a pedometer to track miles walked to get my bonus from work next year :) It's amazing to work towards a goal to be healthier and to get paid for it :)
Here we go:
Measurements as of October 16, 2010:
Bust:46"
Hips:54
Waist:49"
Weigh-ins September 18, 2010:
Bust:43.5"
Hips:52"
Waist:46.5"
I really am not surprised that the numbers went up because I honestly have been so so lazy. I swear, this is going to get a lot better though, because I am not happy with it!

I haven't felt like myself in a few weeks. 2 weeks ago (on that Friday) I was at work when I got a feeling liek I needed to pee. I went potty and had this horrible, pressure in my pelvis region that brought me to tears. It got worse as the night went on and I made hubby take me to the e.r. After answering many embarrassing questions and peeing in a cup, the doctor told me I had a bad bladder infection- a level 3 plus. I had to get a shot in my hiney and a week and a half of antibiotics. I finished up my pills today and it's helped my deep chest cold/cough, but I feel terrible.
Lately, I feel so drained, so tired, and like I have no energy. My boobs have hurt so bad and I have been super nauseated. I'm currently nauseated as we speak. We're hoping it's a little bundle of joy baking in my oven and making me feel like crap, but it's still too early to tell. I took a test Saturday and it was negative, but it was still WAY too early to tell. Pray for us that we can find out in a few weeks if it is a little one for us; both of us want and are ready to be parents.
Even better news; we're moving into a nicer, bigger house in about 2 and a half weeks! We cannot wait!!! More room, in the country, and a great place to decorate and make many memories in. Please be patient with us in the next few weeks as we're packing and going to be settling in to our new home, but we're so excited to share pictures and our love with you guys :)
